A Few Suggestions...

During the month of January we have been exploring what it means to be a part of the Fellowship Family in 2010. We are discovering that being a part of Fellowship Church means that we are ONE family, that we need to focus on reaching ONE person in 2010, that we all need to be connected to ONE ministry and ONE group. Finally, we will emphasize that we all need to make ONE investment into God’s Kingdom and we’ll talk about how to do that specifically.

At the close of whatever service you attend on Sunday, you will have the opportunity to recommit or in some cases commit for the first time to be a member of Fellowship Church. Membership matters. Are you ready to commit? To help you get ready I have a few suggestions:

1. Evaluate your priorities. Is God’s Kingdom important to you? Are you involved or desiring to be involved in the life of Fellowship Church?

2. Evaluate your blessings. Has your life been positively blessed by God? Has the ministry of Fellowship Church made a positive difference in your life?

3. Evaluate your excitement. Are you encouraged by the opportunities that God has put in your life? Are you in agreement with the direction of Fellowship Church?

4. Evaluate your willingness. How open have you been to receive from godly people that God has brought into your life? Can you allow others in Fellowship Church to encourage and minister to you?

5. Evaluate your heart. What has God done for you? Are you willing to be a part of giving to God and others through Fellowship Church?

Hopefully these five evaluations will help you to make the important step of recommitting or committing for the first time to being a member of Fellowship Church.
