I am pumped about what God is doing through you! As I pray for you and spend time in preparation, I sense a great stirring on the horizon. The enemies of the Lord have been active, yet the enemies of the Lord do not have the final say – Jesus not only starts; but finishes His wonderful work in each of us. Be encouraged today, night only lasts for a season, the dawning of a new day is upon us – open wide your eyes to see God’s active fingerprints all around us – praise Him!
Speaking of God’s active fingerprints among us, next weekend promises to be filled with God’s activity among us. Next weekend culminates nearly an entire year of planning and praying. Joel Comiskey will be with us on Friday night (7 – 9PM), Saturday (9AM – 4PM) and Sunday (normal worship times).
We are calling this time ReNew 09 because it is past time to have a renewal of vision. God is alive a well all over this big world. Years ago, Henry Blackaby said that the follower of Jesus’ job is to discover where God is moving and join Him in His work! Next weekend at ReNew 09, we will rediscover afresh how God is moving all over the world. And prayerfully our response will be to join Him in what He is doing!
I really do hope and pray that you will join me, your staff, your core leadership and well over 100 others from 9 different churches for ReNew 09!

Reflections on "Building Blocks"
I have enjoyed the last three weeks as we have explored Building Blocks 09. Many of you have communicated to me how timely these messages have been to your life.
Speaking of building, one of the “blocks” that God has allowed Fellowship Church to build upon is the “block” of sacrificial giving. I have personally witnessed God’s supernatural provision being made manifest through your sacrificial giving time and time again!
Sacrificial giving – this is such a clear expression of a real follower of Jesus because that is what God did through Jesus – He sacrificially gave His best to us and He continues to pour out His best to us. The question is, will we give and continue to give our best to Him – especially when it requires a personal sacrifice of some sort?
Bring Your Best 2009 will be here Easter Sunday, April 12. What is it? A special offering to give our very best gift possible in remembrance and celebration of God giving His best to us in Jesus! Please begin praying and planning now to take part in this special Easter offering. Note: You may also begin giving now to this offering, just indicate so on your check or envelope.
Our faith goal is $35,000 so that we can make needed upgrades to our Worship Center such as painting, stage modifications, lighting and video improvements, and new flooring – all to be more effective with the facilities God has given to us. God gave His best to us in Jesus, will we give Him our best in this offering?

Is it a boy or a girl?
Twenty weeks ago a new life was formed in Jane’s womb. This was an answer to much prayer and patience. In fact, in late September of last year, I was in prayer one night conversing with the Lord about our desire to have another child – immediately the peace of the Lord came over me and I sensed in my heart that Jane was pregnant – this was all before any tests had been taken! And sure enough, one week later Jane informed me that she thought she might be pregnant. I told her that I already knew that she was!
Be encouraged today from my story - God indeed answers prayers and gives us the desires of our heart as we delight ourselves in Him (see Psalm 37:4)! So press into God and allow Him to shape the desires of your heart towards His desires for you – and be bold in your petitions AND in your patience!
You know, back in November when we shared with you that we were expecting, the joy of the Lord so filled our hearts to be able to share this with you. It was actually hard waiting to tell you – that is the way it is when you love someone – you desire to share your life with them. Please allow me to share a little more with you today – on Wednesday of this past week, we discovered that we have a little girl on the way!
Thank you for allowing Jane and me to share our life with you. And thank you for sharing your life with us.

GROWTH!
As a parent of three children (and one on the way), I am continually amazed at their growth. Each child is very different and unique, but each child shares the common trait of growth. They can’t stop it and neither can I – they are born to grow.
Growth creates a myriad of challenges – as a parent I sometimes don’t want my children to “grow up” – images of their past at times prevents the reality of the present to be seen it all it’s beauty. And as they grow, they sure do eat a lot – a challenge in it’s own right☺!
Let’s shift gears somewhat for a moment. God is your parent; you are His child. And He has created you to grow spiritually. Challenging? Yep! At times discouraging when we don’t “grow up” in our relationship with God? Of course. Worth it all? ABSOLUTELY!
Just as my children and your children were created to grow, you and I are created by God to GROW in our walk with Him. It is a supernatural work by His grace, yet requires our continual faith (of which He even provides)!
Have you been growing lately in your walk with God? Or have memories of your past plagued the opportunities of the present? The past can never compare with the promise of His future for our lives – let’s partner with God to “grow up” into all the fullness that He has in store for us as His people!
